I hope we win by a big margin so that Dean can rest his injured foot a few more days and also so our bench guys can get a little playing time at the end of the game.
That being said, the lower seeds have been giving the higher seeds fits all throughout this Tourney. I hope we come out strong and shut them down and stay out of foul trouble.
Go 'Cats!!!
Edit: I went back and looked at their schedule. This is not the same team that got blown out by Vermont and lost to Stony Brook. I noticed that they have won their last six games and nine out of their last ten, including the Vermont and Albany teams who blew them out earlier in the season. Makes me wonder if they were missing some key players in those games. They are playing hot now, though. Hopefully, we cool them off and bring them back down to Earth.

This will be a tough game to win. Cartier will have to protect the ball. Of course I want us to win but UMBC has that Lasalle/VCU style of play. Their schedule is irrelevant at this point.

Seems as though they really like to shoot the corner 3. We have to get a hand in their face

He said the first 7-8 minutes will be crucial. Sounds like Frank has a Clemente like relationship with UMBC's PR PG. Apparently he and Lyle are used to playing against tough competition so they'll be ready. Dean was shown warming up without the boot.
