Is Patrick in a funk, or is this really who he is? How much longer can we wait on him to contribute?
I'd say he better turn it around in a hurry.
Patrick is what we thought he was (cue Dennis Green). He was not a highly recruited kid, (he was a spring signing) but he had some upside as a good shooter with decent size and hops. His role on the team was never going to be as a major contributor in his second season after only playing about 5 min per game in his first. You recruit guys like him not really expecting them to be consistent assets until their last 2 seasons. Of course it would be great to be surprised and have him be better, sooner, than expected, but that doesn’t happen often. Players get a lot better over 4 years and I’ll think we’ll be glad to have him before he’s done, but I don’t expect much this year.

he hit a very important trey v. oSu. he also was on the floor for quite awhile giving the starters relief. he's a good bench go-to with the potential to be really special from outside.
Why is there something rather than nothing?
We need that dagger in the heart guy like KU had - can't remember his name- but there were games where we would get within a few pts every time and they would just put him over on the side and he would sink 3 pt baskets at the most inopportune time for us.

Here's hoping Allen Fieldhouse falls into a sinkhole someday so the game will have to be moved to Johnson County Community College. ;)
I think it is very possible the 'Cats win tomorrow. Sure, it may be unlikely given the last 25 years. We just need the rebounds to bounce our way. At some point, KU is going to stop hitting as many 3s against the 'Cats as they usually do as well. I think KU thinks they can win by 30, but I believe we have a decent chance at the upset.

It is possible that old dump could just internally flood itself into that sink hole.

Matchup between Brown and Graham will be worth watching. Both competing at an All Big 12 level through 4 games. Keeping Graham from going off from three is going to be one of the keys.

Wow. I hope the chicken scratchings in the building next door didn't get ruined.WildcatEngineer wrote:http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/ ... -jayhawks/Number8son wrote:Here's hoping Allen Fieldhouse falls into a sinkhole someday so the game will have to be moved to Johnson County Community College. ;)
