Iowa State
Iowa State got beat by Milwaukee tonight pretty bad. They are now 0-2 to start the season.

An NBA pedigree goes a long way with impressionable teenagers.learnin wrote:It makes you wonder what gets into experts minds when they put K-State at the bottom of the heap. The coaches are no better. I wonder how the ole Mayor got all those players into Ames?

I hope we get ISU as early as possible. They have some talent, but it’s young and inexperienced. Much like OU last year, they will likely improve a lot between December and March.

Fred Hoiberg recruited many troubled players that were looking to transfer because they were having problems at their original school. They were not exactly choir boys. Fred was good at convincing them to play as a team and not individuals. Morris, Thomas, and Niang were good citizens and provided the glue to hold the team together. Hoiberg did not recruit well his last two years and it will be apparent with the product the Cyclones put on the court this season and next. Next season's incoming freshman will determine whether Iowa State soon returns to the top half of the conference or not.

others have picked k-state tenth. look at the threads on this site. i did catch some of the tcu game last night. they good. isu is bad. ku is young and thin. wvu is not what we expected, at least looking at their aTm outcome. baylor is always good, it seems. texas has lots of talent, but so what, they always have a talented roster. have not seen tech or the oklahoma schools, although oSu has FBI issues.purplepain wrote:We were picked ahead of Iowa State.learnin wrote:It makes you wonder what gets into experts minds when they put K-State at the bottom of the heap.
