Just for kicks and giggles, or not, what brand or type of cold cereal do you eate more regularly for breakfast?

For me: Rice Chex or Frosted Shredded Wheat.

A note: I've eaten Shredded Wheat for 7 decades and I don't think one thing has changed about it that whole time -- except for the frosted coating.

Cherios. I used to eat grape nuts, but broke a tooth chomping on a nugget.
When I was a kid it was Quiz and Captain Crunch

I ate a lot of different cold cereals growing up. In recent years, I have been buying a brand called Grain Berry. Their cereals tend to be lower in sugar and higher in fiber, but not crazy in either direction. I also slice up a banana or put blueberries on my cereal, which give me more natural sugar and fiber.

Same with the banana and blueberries on my cold Rice Chex or Shredded Wheat.

if you like granola, pick up a bag at radina's bake shop. homemade! it's the best along with their coffee, breads, and baked goods. wade's french bread is to die for, seriously.

Been going with the Kashi of late. Different styles, but it's enjoyable.

I like that brand, too. It's probably my second-most purchased brand of cold cereal.

If you like granola and want to take the time to make your own, I really like this recipe from Alton Brown. https://altonbrown.com/recipes/healthy- ... e-granola/.

However, I make a change to this by using melted coconut oil as the "vegetable oil" in the recipe. Coconut oil is solid at room temperature, so it helps keep the granola more crisp when adding milk. It also provides great flavor (if you like coconut). Also, since it's a saturated fat (don't worry, it's not harmful like the mainstream narrative wants you to believe), it's more resistant to rancidity (vs. unsaturated fats).

As a kid it was Cap'n Crunch, Shredded Wheat, Rice Crispies & Cheerios.

Like some of your granola ideas. I think I will start to make that a healthy choice going forward.

Count Chocolate was the worst. I didn't like malt-o-mill. I liked mom's homemade oatmeal with brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins.
