Being from SC KS where our tress consists of red cedars, cottonwoods,. hedge trees and Chinese elms, I was enjoyed the multiple colors of the trees on campus. Plus the fat squirrels running around in the piles of leaves.

Yeah, for sure. I live on the west side of town. I enjoy going for long walks and Manhattan has a lot of great trails that connect to parks that they have left in their natural state (tall grass prairie, creeks, woods, etc.). It makes the walks here anything but boring. :)

The poor squirrels in my section only have hedge ball seeds to live on and to store for the winter. It is a good thing that squirrels have a little brain because only a stupid animal would gnaw on a green sticky nasty smelling hedge ball to get seeds.
