Re: Portal
well, if the cats beat iowa and caitlin two out of three, i'm confident they can compete with haley. i watched a lot of wbb this past season and found her to be pretty meh for all the ballyhoo surrounding her transfer to lsu.

I don’t disagree. Her game was not a fit at LSU. I suspect she will fit better at TCU. TCU know his 3 very good guards and a very good big center.
I think we need another top flight recruit to be a serious contender. Just my opinion. I’m sure many of you will disagree.

Oh they will disagree. KSU needs a recruit like her that can shoot the ball consistently, wonder if we even reached out to her. Come play with the greatest center in women's basketball??! TCU coach did an outstanding job with what he ended up having. They'll be hard to contend with.greycat68 wrote: ↑April 19th, 2024, 6:03 pmI don’t disagree. Her game was not a fit at LSU. One site says it is Temira Poindexter from Tulsa who averaged 21 points and 5 rebounds this year.

Wow, sounds like a really nice addition. Will take the place of Gabby and is a little taller.AlabamaLane wrote: ↑April 21st, 2024, 8:22 pmOne site says it is Temira Poindexter from Tulsa who averaged 21 points and 5 rebounds this year.

We will have a lot of versatility. With Yoki we can play half court offense. When Yoki is out we should be able to push the pace with Poindexter, Maupin, etc. We are getting more athletic, which was a must in today's women's basketball.
