Now that Lee is returning we have 2 open scholarship. I hope he uses them wisely.

I think we need more quickness and better 3 point shooting.

We should go after Denae Fritz. Started at Iowa State and got a lot of playing time, transferred to Baylor and didn't play much. She is tough as nails and can shoot the 3.

Based on her reasons for leaving ISU I doubt she would consider us.

She told the Register that her decision to leave had nothing to do with the fans or the school. It had to do with how Iowa State’s style of play.

“A faster-paced offense,” she told the Register. “That’s all I’m going to say.”

She was 33.9% from 3 in 22-23 at ISU, 22.2% at Baylor. Only played 8.2 minutes a game last year, scored 1.6 points per game.

I like the tough as nails part but we need a better shooter or a quick to the rim finisher, hopefully both.

TCU has now made the themselves title contenders thru the portal while we are doing nothing. Mittie is afraid to recruit over current players. In today’s environment you have to get top flight players out of the portal every year to be a top 25 team.

Cavendar twin is no longer going to TCU. Mittie has picked up the girl from Missouri State who can play the 4.

I am aware Cavinder has decommitted but they signed Haley Van Lith who is one of the top players in the country. Plus they signed Maddie Scherr from Kentucky. Our signee was the 6th man at Missouri St. No comparison.

It comes from numerous national publications as well as TCU women’s basketball.

Cavinder decommitted when Van Lith committed. Guess she didn’t want to share the spotlight.
