I like the region. Good competition but I don’t believe there’s anyone we can’t beat. Would have liked to be on the opposite side from South Carolina, but that would be a final four game anyway so I’d take if they can get there.

I watched Gonzaga beat Portland in person by 50 on February 28. Then, I watched Portland beat Gonzaga on TV by 1 in the finals of the West Coast Conference tournament on March 12. Portland is a tough first round matchup for the Cats. They have very quick, athletic guards. They play a physical game and often press full court. The K-State guards will have their hands full. The Pilots have a 6'6" center who is not very athletic. She is from Australia and is an excellent shot blocker. She is long but is not bulky.

New season. Can’t look past anyone but have to play with a chip on our shoulder. Believing we can beat anyone.
