I wonder what our ranking will be when we play Baylor? 4 of the 6 team ahead of us in the AP poll lost this week.
#1 South Carolina- 16-0
#2 Iowa- 18-2 after losing at Ohio State in overtime today
#3 Colorado- 15-2 after a lost at home to #5 UCLA / plays #6 USC today
#4 NC State- 16-3 lost by 18 to unranked Miami
#5 UCLA- 15-1- beat Colorado/ plays #20 Utah today
#6 USC- 13-2- lost by 20 at #20 Utah this week and plays at #5 Colorado today
#7 KState- 18-1- 2? Wins this week
Don’t see any teams below us jumping us this week
I could see us being in the top 5. But we’ll see how voters account for Ayoka Lee being out.

Colorado lost to a top 10 and beat a top 10 so they won't move much. Also the UCLA v. Utah game is tomorrow. We will be top 5. At least for a week. The BU game will be very difficult tomorrow without Yoki and possibly Brylee.

Rankings generally don’t matter, and they especially won’t if we lose tomorrow. At the very least, I just want to see us play competitively, and if we do lose, I want to see us lose by no more than 5 points. I am not expecting us to go undefeated in conference play without Lee, but we still don’t really know how the floor/ceiling of this team’s play changes without Lee.

We are at home. White out. They are significantly weakened wout their center. Our forwards are fast and athletic. Our guards better at assists. SA gets a reawakening of her mojo.

I'll agree that their forwards are probably better, but our guards will hold their own.tmcats wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2024, 12:46 pmbaylor board k-state thread.

the take makes me chuckle because i couldn't name our "forwards." it seems to me that we're all guards surrounding the post.Wyldkatz wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2024, 12:51 pmI'll agree that their forwards are probably better, but our guards will hold their own.tmcats wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2024, 12:46 pmbaylor board k-state thread.
