There is little correlation to "wanting big things" to happen in sports, but still being happy at the season if the "big" thing doesn't happen.
This year I experienced a lot of pure sports entertainment watching KSU's women's team win so many games. Entertainment is what sports is about. Bragging rights comes in a poor second -- at least for me.

Not at all but look how it started and then finished. Started 20-1 & then limped in at not quite .500 ball. This team was better than that. Just disappointed. Buffs loss was just not good either.

oSu's coach hoyt has her hands full it seems. i remember folks here bemoaning the fact k-state did not can mittie and hire her after she went to stillwater. cowgirls finished 7-11 in b12 play this past season.

I didn't follow Oklahoma State this season, but they had some of the same problems Arizona did. Injuries. A player quit the team. UA has stabilized, but OSU now has 9 in the portal. Former Wildcat Anna Gret Asi is 1 of just 6 on the 2024-25 roster, including the incoming freshmen
