I think the numbers are rankings within the conference group.
If you have to be persuaded, reminded, pressured, lied to, incentivized, coerced, bullied, socially shamed, guilt-tripped, threatened, punished and criminalized...you can be absolutely certain that what is being promoted is not in your best interest

This will be like taking candy from a baby - Rhode Island is way over seeded - Oklahoma had a much better draw than KSU in my opinion

(7) Rhode Island vs. (10) Oklahoma, Thursday, 12:15 p.m. CBS: We're not messing around this year. The first game on the first day is a good one. The Rams have stumbled of late, but 25 wins and an Atlantic 10 regular-season title should count for a lot. Slowing down Sooners freshman sensation Trae Young is the primary objective for Rhode Island, which is making its second-straight NCAA appearance under Dan Hurley.

I understand RI is favored where they should be being a 7 over 10 but Oklahoma will win this game comfortably I think - I think OU got a nice pass to second round

@RyanABlack Take this for what it's worth, but when I saw Dean Wade arrive w/K-State's men's basketball team at the Manhattan Regional Airport a little bit ago, he was still wearing the same boot on his foot as he had last Friday at the Big 12 Tournament in KC. Maybe something, maybe nothing

Not having Wade will suck all the enthusiasm out of this tourney appearance...everyone will be like"here we go again"

He’ll wear the boot up right up until game time and then he’ll take it off and lace up his sneakers and go. He did that for about 6 games and 3 weeks last year.

When asked about Dean on a radio interview yesterday, Bruce just said that they were taking it day by day.
He also stated that Barry's vision was still a little blurred but was improving daily. On WIBW radio

“I’m still doing stuff,” Wade said Sunday. “This (walking boot) is kind of precautionary, just making sure it gets better and doesn’t get any worse. I’ll be good by Friday, though.

“Honestly, when (Barry) got poked, at first I thought, man, his eye just fell out of his head or something. I felt awful for him. I think (having both players return) just brings a little more experience to the table. We’ve only been there once, but we’ve had a little success in there, beating Wake Forest (in the First Four in 2017). (We’ll) help everyone keep calm under stress.”

Creighton coach Greg McDermott said his squad will be ready for a battle.
