barry brown and others declared as juniors, got feedback, and came back their senior years.
Nowhere have I found where Kaluma said he plans to maintain is college eligibility.
It looks like it's NBA or bust.
The NBA is prejudice towards older players.
If that is the case, then best of luck to Kaluma in his future endeavors.

Tomlin took the NBA "Three Hour Tour" also & got his evaluation, but decided to return to college. Never say never...

Yeah after he gets “the tour” I think he’ll be back or in college somewhere.

True, but if you look at the wording of his Instagram post (see below), it tells me that he likely will not be back next season -- at least in a K-State uniform. Who knows? I guess it would explain why we were going so hard after guys like Mikeal Brown-Jones and Baba Miller. Maybe the coaches were informed that he likely wouldn't return.

"I would also like to thank Coach Tang and the whole Kansas State staff for giving me the chance to play in the best conference in college basketball. The connections I have built at K-State will last a lifetime," Kaluma said in his Instagram post. "Thank you to all my teammates and fans for their support. Without further ago, I would like to announce that I am declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft."

Listening to the 3maw podcast they said while he didn’t directly say he would enter with still the chance of returning, it is still possible he could return. Apparently Tang said Kaluma would likely play this thing out to about the last minute, to get all the necessary information he needs in making the best decision for him and it was said the door is open if he wants to return. So we’ll see.

So that caps the scholarships used to 12.

In 2024 if a student athlete does not sign a contract to play a sport they should be able to return and play college athletics.

Sports is the ONLY aspect of our society that does not allow a person to continue with their college career if they are paid for work in their education field.

Not to be snarky, but Sports is not an education field. It is an extracurricular activity in which, in the interest of competition and gamesmanship, the sponsors of the activity agree to various rules in order that the competitive field can be leveled to make the sport entertaining and to allow all who participate a somewhat even opportunity to learn and grow while competing and challenging themselves. Okay, obviously it is all about the Benjamin's now, but it is still not an educational field, it is an extracurricular activity.

Undrated Free Agency contracts can be a pathway to play in the NBA. Nowell is on this path. Dean Wade is another example. Kaluma will need to decide if he can get a UDF contract. If he is unclear then ...

What he needs is a chance at a 2 way contract between the NBA and g-league. But I think his chances are less than 50-50.
