It is being reported Drew's family is in Lexington visiting.
Sounds pretty darn likely he will take the job.
Tang’s silence is ominous and unsettling and seems like he wants to return to Baylor.
This all is damaging to the relationship with fans. If Tang stays he has some fence repairs to do. I can only image how much this horse jockeying speculation is harming any efforts to convince portalers to come.to K State.
I guess I’m not seeing how this is affecting Tang currently and is now all mute with Drew passing. Not sure what repairs he has to make. He’s the KSU head basketball coach. End.

The emotional and mental tortures too many fans put themselves through over pure speculation by others, it’s just not worth it.
No kidding. It is pretty comical though.

Coaches off their shopping list: Oats, Hurley, Drew, Calipari, Self, UNC coach, Duke coach, most NBA coaches. Everyone else is still on their list.

That doesn't mean they can get any of them they want, but they would all at least take the call and consider.

Makes me wonder what the issue is at Kentucky

Mark Pope was now the leading candidate for the head coach job.
He is a former Kentucky basketball player.
He may not be pretty and.sexy, but he is sturdy and can bear healthy results.

I wouldn't think Pope would be big enough (not physically but splash-wise) for Kentucky. I would be surprised if it ends up being him.

Nah, this smells like something a little more than arrogance. I think these coaches know something that we don't know and they know better not to touch it until the covers are pulled back. In this day and age of NIL, I can't imagine what it would be. But when so many coaches pass on a perennial power program in the sport, that's telling. Not sure what it is, but I suspect its more than arrogance.
