According to a tweet from Derek Young we are not actively recruiting Mitchell. Don’t know why but that is what he posted.

That's interesting. Jason Scheer, who predicted Arizona and the other Four Corners schools to the Big 12 (when others doubted) seems to think its likely that Mitchell will be coming to K-State.

That was actually the comment he copied and replied to. Said it wasn’t true and was confirmed.stlcatfan wrote: ↑April 13th, 2024, 11:08 pmThat's interesting. Hmm. I wonder why it is still up at the K-State 247 Site? I can't imagine the staff not recruiting a kid from KC, who transferred from Duke, unless Mitchell has his narrowed list of schools already.bhoovy wrote: ↑April 13th, 2024, 11:18 pmThat was actually the comment he copied and replied to. ETA: I found this story on EMAW Online. It wasn't behind a paywall. Mitchell is briefly mentioned in the story, along with other players on the K-State coaches' radar.

The portal is going to get ugly with big name programs looking for lots of players. Kentucky, Arkansas, USC and such. Glad we got McDaniel early.

interestingly, klieman said that k-state's nil is sufficient enough now not to worry about players being bought by others. that ours is used for retention.
met one of tang's assistants at the car wash this morning, his $175,000 black escalade made my aviator look third world. i thanked him for being at k-state. lol, the irony.

Oumar Ballo is expected to come visit during the week.
24/7 has given him 1 crystal balls for Indiana
I don't understand why they think that he will want to play his final year in an inferior league. He would get a lot of time as our big man.

That’s funny! I don’t think any of them are hurting too bad financially!tmcats wrote: ↑April 14th, 2024, 12:17 pminterestingly, klieman said that k-state's nil is sufficient enough now not to worry about players being bought by others. that ours is used for retention.

Do Escalades really cost that much? I knew they were expensive, but I thought they were more like $100,000. That's crazy money for a car.tmcats wrote: ↑April 14th, 2024, 12:17 pminterestingly, klieman said that k-state's nil is sufficient enough now not to worry about players being bought by others. that ours is used for retention.
