I was told this morning that Cliff received a $2 million NIL offer from a school while going through the portal process.

I would be fine with a $2 mill offer of NIL if that is what the coaches viewed as the best use of the NIL money. I thought we had just as good of a chance as anyone, dependent upon the NIL offers and our relative position on that. Alabama has been spending some significant NIL money, I believe, over the last couple of years since Oats came in. Oh well, I have no doubt the coaches put on a strong case and am disappointed we didn't land to him, but on to the next one.
