Good news indeed. He can also play the 5 position which is nice since we are thin there.

On a side note, I saw where a 6'11 high school center from Chicago decommitted from Arizona State. It looks like he was recruited over. He was ranked the #7 player in Illinois this past season. He might be someone we could bring in for depth. Of course there are still some decent centers in the portal, even if Omoruyi chooses not to come here.

David's leadership maybe more important than his playing abilities, especially if his tenacity and grit rub off on the others.

To me David showed out at the end of the season by being very CONFIDENT and AGGRESSIVE and TALENTED.

I believe he has the opportunity to be a major factor for our team next season and I am very grateful that he is returning.

His leadership will have a very positive impact on our team next season.

I know they said DnG has some lingering injuries he battles last year but I don't know if those were things that would be cleared up this year and allow him to practice and play full speed, hopefully so. His flexibility to play the 4 or 5 is nice. If we just have him and Fall at the 5, we will be up against it if we face someone with some beef and power down low. I am sure the staff would like to add someone with a little more bulk and a post-up scoring game

I've seen this guy's name floated around. He's a former 5-star recruit with good size.
