saw rudi williams last night, starting point guard at byu. still not much of a player - at least to my eyes. was at coastal carolina last year. byu is going to get abused in the b12 if they don't improve.

dujuan gordon is at new mexico state. he had 14 last night. always liked dujuan. huge disappointment here after all the high school accolades including chicago poy.

Interesting. So both those guys have now transferred a second time. I think it would be interesting to see the numbers for those that decided to transfer, how many transfer a second or even third time. Seems like it’s pretty common. They don’t seem find what they had hoped that first move and end up continuing the search by transferring again.

Rudi played at Coastal Carolina (2021-22), Kansas State (2020-21) and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (2018-20) before this year at BYU.

Rudi transferred up because he had a great year at coastal. Shot 45% from three and 14.7 pts a game while playing point guard.

This is a writers comment on his performance in their exhibition game:

Transfer point guard Rudi Williams arrived at BYU with high expectations. The veteran guard looked as good as advertised against Ottawa. He was extremely efficient and he had command of the offense. Williams finished with 15 points on 5/6 shooting in 23 minutes. He also had a team-high six assists.

Jack Karapetyan brings over nine years of aerospace engineering, production, and operations experience. Most recently, Jack worked as a Value Stream Manager in the Cockpit Controls area at Esterline Control Systems. Prior to that, he had several years as Production Manager at a division of Precision Castparts Corporation (Avibank Manufacturing). He started his career at Boeing and holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from USC.
Wasn't too good at College basketball, but sounds like a successful life.
