Huh??? What are McDaniel, Jones, Hausen and Fall??
And we need 6 more people for a full slate of players.
I want dudes not players
Rich, Manning and N'Guessan are the only returning players.
And we are iffy on 3 of the targets we want
I guess you better start ponying up a significant amount of cash for the $NIL.

Just signing 'dudes' with a 'me first' attitude won't make you feel any better. They always know that they can leave and chase money somewhere else. This is AAU BS on steroids.

The wild movement of coaches has created chaos and cut throat competition.
Some of these coaches have unlimited loot to lavish on 2nd and 3rd tier players to fill out rosters.
The portal season started with the idea of adding to a solid base of good players. Now we are scrambling to fill out petty much the whole.
A good start with kids that fit.
Coach Tang said early that he thought that we had a substantial amount of NIL, but in an interview with 3MAW at midseason he questioned whether they did.
When I started out as a young farmer I went to auctions to buy farm machinery to get started. Unfortunately the price of used equipment took off and my budget only could afford nearly shot equipment that had to be repaired often. I farmed, but not very well. I eventually lost the ground I was leasing and got out of farming.
Sorry I want more than great football and mediocre basketball.

At this point I'd settle for good football but in this environment with no guard rails on NIL I can not see schools like KSU coming out winners in any sport.

Agreed, but I think I am ok with that. A school that sells its soul for the golden ring is a school that lacks depth, honesty, and virtue. I think Colorado fits that bill right now.

As I've said in other posts on this subject, we're creating a generation of entitled young adults. There's already plenty of them out there and this only makes it worse.....don't get want you want when you want it....just move onto another job. Then again, most companies don't have loyalty to employees anymore either. Even though we all need a certain amount of it, money really does ruin things.

I wonder if this is a sign that Battle may not be committing to us. Still, Poplar would be a nice pickup, if the staff can land him.

It may just be that Battle hasn't yet committed. You can't operate on the assumption you will get a guy, particularly if he has already visited and didn't commit. You might get him but if someone else kind of similar comes open, you have to contact him. That being said, I think we are kind of waiting on Omoruyi

I hope that's the case. I saw where Battle is visiting Gonzaga this weekend. They are thin in the backcourt so they may go after him pretty hard.
