I don't see him as NFL WR material, IMO. He just doesn't have the hands and too inconsistent. But possibly he can make it as a deep backup, or even on the practice team, where he'd be making a good salary even if never seeing time on the field. Do that for a few years and then fall back on your degree. Not the worst of options. Good luck Byron!

perhaps I am mis-remembering. it seems to me that when Byron started reaching out and grabbing the passes vs just 'accepting them' he showed abiility to receive. No doubting his speed.KsJoey wrote:I don't see him as NFL WR material, IMO. He just doesn't have the hands and too inconsistent. I think there is something there to work with. I will forever WISH Byron has stuck for one more year to show us all exactly what he could do.
Good luck Byron! sux for us that you've moved on, wish you nothing but best and will follow you as your reach for the dream.

Signing Pringle is a no brainer. He's from a local college so that appeases some fans. He's got the prototypical size/speed that you want as a minimum for NFL WR. He comes from a college football program that places an emphasis on Special Teams and with his size/speed/overall athleticism and exposure to Special Teams he can add depth at numerous spots.
Will he pan out? That's up to him and his coaches.

[quote="Wildcat69"]Maybe they will move Pringle to returner on punts and kickoffs to preserve the wear and tear on Hill - I don’t expect him to take time from the recievers unless one gets hurt[/q
Can't jump on the bandwagon now..LOL...Pringle hasn't made the squad, but this camp will give him more exposure.
