I'M NOT INTERESTED ANYMORE IF IT'S NOT KSU IN THE GAME.
ONLY ESPN BOWL GAMES SUCK. ITS BASICALLY PAYPERVIEW NOW.
SORRY. DONT CARE ANYMORE. $$$$$$ FOR A few over the masses makes sense for the highest profit but what is the future? Less people will be interested. Including me.

It’s just another reason why I can’t stand espn. Fitz has a daily delivery about Fox getting ready to make a bid to get the rights to the CFP. If Fox can get the rights I’m guessing the game will be back on local tv where the title games belong. Here’s the link to that daily delivery from Fitz:

Eastern Cheatin' Scumbags whip the Western Plain Ol' Scumbags for the nat'l crown. Ugh. Puke! They deserve to be share the future together.

At least it was not an SEC matchup.ToledoCat#3 wrote: ↑January 8th, 2024, 11:09 pmEastern Cheatin' Scumbags whip the Western Plain Ol' Scumbags for the nat'l crown. Ugh. Puke! They deserve to be share the future together.

Surprised the game wasn't simulacasted on ABC. I thought the idea of TV Programming was to get as many people as possible to watch. A lot of folks have cut the cord & no longer have cable.

When I was a kid, I used to watch boxing on TV, but when a lot of the good matches started going to pay-per-view on HBO, I lost interest. Nationally, boxing has declined in popularity and has become sort of a niche sport. I hope college football doesn't follow the same path. Keeping games on the OTA channels is important for allowing access to the average TV sports viewer.

I hope it does follow the same path. Maybe it'll wake the idiot decision makers up. I can't believe I'm where I'm at at this point, because I've been passionate about college football for over 45 of my 50 plus years, but this bowl season, for the 1st time ever, I just didn't care. They're ruining it for me. It'll survive without me, but I got by just fine not watching bowl games this year, so I guess it's mutual.stlcatfan wrote: ↑January 9th, 2024, 8:10 amWhen I was a kid, I used to watch boxing on TV, but when a lot of the good matches started going to pay-per-view on HBO, I lost interest.
