KU is (barring massive losses or Lance taking Michigan job if Harbaugh leaves) pretty dang good in 2024. Not many if any key portal losses and lots of dudes coming back. If they were as terrible as they were until 2022, a really small stadium might happen. I'm very curious and very thankful we have them at home in the coming season.

They have 230 days to tear the rest down, clean up, and build their $448,000,000 Goff's Goof. I am glad it is their problem.

squawks are k-state's rival, that's why we care. they also took $50 million in kansas taxpayer welfare payments to help build their new fly trap.

TM, not to quibble but they actually got $80,000,000.
I think they play in Sporting because they would be embarrassed by playing in Arrowhead.

Taking taxpayer money is different than caring where they play. Are we worried that if they play in Arrowhead they will have a recruiting advantage? They are our rival and I care about kicking their ass whenever we play them. I couldn't care less where they play, the color of their uniforms, the type of bird the have on their helmet, etc.

I am pretty sure Sporting said they would never let a football game be played there again due to the damage it causes to the turf during their season.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2024, 2:52 pmTM, not to quibble but they actually got $80,000,000.

if you care so little perhaps you should limit your comments?topekacat wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2024, 3:28 pmTaking taxpayer money is different than caring where they play. I've still not seen any official admit that they embarked on this teardown and rebuild without knowing where the next seasons games will be played. That seems unbelievably stupid even for a KU administrator.
