The Portal and Will Howard, is he looking for the best opportunity to gain 'NFL status'?

.Man, I am overjoyed with Dylan joining the fold...... I just hope his character issues can be resolved. He is a back we need, and him and TJ could be one of the best tandems in CFB.

Very accurate statement. I don't need some "expert" to tell me that.

I met a guy Saturday who was a big Ohio State fan. He said their highly touted freshman quarterback had a good spring game and will likely be the starter. Something tells me Will may not be the guy.

From all I've read so far from insiders Will Howard is QB1 and something drastically negative in the fall would need to happen to change that... It seems like Ryan Day and Chip Kelly really like him for his experience on the big stage. Personally, I think Will is going to thrive this fall and his completion % will be much improved.

Spring games are not regular season games. Stats and performances can be misleading.

I could see a situation similar to ours last season. Will is the starter, but if he falters at all, OSU fans will be calling for the highly touted freshman. If he thought K-State fans were rough on him, just wait. That's why I said a while back that I wish Will had declared for the draft. Granted, he may have been drafted in a late round or taken as a undrafted FA, but at least he would have landed on a team where he could make good money, develop his skills, and not have to look over his shoulder every time he makes a bad play. He will have a lot of pressure on him to perform well. Best of luck to Will next season.

Today, after watching the TCU game for the nth time I have a gut feeling Will is goingv off in 2024. With the weapons he has at his disposal it will happen. He has that potential after carefully dissecting that game ( one of my favorite wildcat games). JMO though.

I hope it all falls into place for Will. There will not be much wiggle room at the OSU. The guy I talked to didn't seem to like the idea of getting their QB from K-State.privyet wrote: ↑May 4th, 2024, 2:24 pmToday, after watching the TCU game for the nth time I have a gut feeling Will is goingv off in 2024.
