Are you saying that he is blaming Skyler when it was really his fault?02Cat wrote: ↑August 23rd, 2023, 10:44 amIs this McDaniels way of saying they lost in the playoffs last year because Sky couldn't get the play to the team and out of the huddle to the line? It sure looked, to me, like Skylar was looking to the sideline waiting for them to get their stuff together and get the call in to him in that game @ Buffalo...SCKSCat wrote: ↑August 21st, 2023, 5:30 pmhttps://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/spo ... 636737007/
Skylar had a good day against the Texans. Three touchdown passes.
Looks like he may be #2.
“I thought Skylar did a great job handling everything,” McDaniel said. “You want to see from him how fast he was getting in and out of the huddle. You could tell it was an emphasis from him as well as it was for me, and he didn’t get bogged down with a play. There were some plays that he’d want back, but then he continued to press forward and try to make some plays, and I think he did a great job of that, some on-schedule, some off-schedule, and the key will be to go watch the tape and get better from that moving forward.”

Kind of yes. In that game, the guys on the field looked to be waiting on the calls to come in from the sidelines. This sounds like maybe McDaniels wants to share blame. That very well could be the case that both were at fault, but, it's kind of telling if the coach is trying to deflect.katlander wrote: ↑August 23rd, 2023, 12:06 pmAre you saying that he is blaming Skyler when it was really his fault?02Cat wrote: ↑August 23rd, 2023, 10:44 am

I am watching the Jets - Giants pre-season game. When the wide outs are not on the same page as Aaron Rogers the offense looks putrid.
But when Jordy and Rogers were together, I cannot remember a QB/WR duo that could read each other better. The Jordy Green Bay highlights are joyful.

BH, good list, but I would counter, none of that group took advantage of the Defense jumping offsides like Rogers/Nelson and the back shoulder throw. Duece Vaughn has made the Dallas Cowboys roster.
Against all odds and naysayers, he has achieved his dream.
Gifted more in his mind and soul with smarts and a yes I can attitude, he done the hard work needed to succeed. It is too bad that this type work ethic is not shared by more kids. I hope Duece has a great career and becomes a Cowboys legend; this is a good fit. Jerry Jones still uses his gut to judge players and scoffs at metrics.

Darren Sproles is questioning whether Deuce is a good fit for Dallas.
