Fitz has been spectacularly wrong on some things, it's well documented on this site and others. Fitz has also been proven right on a lot more of his takes over the last 30+ years than some folks are willing to give him credit for. I don't know the man , but I have read his takes on issues for the 30+ plus years he has been in the business and he is not a double agent working to subvert KSU.
i know him. he's been dealing with cancer for some time now. that in my view gives him some grace and leeway. i'll leave it at that.
LOL how magnanimous of you. I know him, too, and I'm quite sure he doesn't give a damn what you think of him.

Oregon State and Washington State are putting the final touches on a television deal involving the broadcast of their 2024 home football games.

The Beavers have seven home games next season and the Cougars have six. The two Pac-12 Conference schools bundled them together in a 13-game offering.

The CW Network is believed to be the primary broadcast partner. The network was in extended talks with the Pac-12 as recently as a week ago, per sources.

That article does not mention the amount WSU and OSU will be paid.

That article mentions the Pac 12 Network, but it does not say anything about what is happening with existing contracts with cable providers like Spectrum, Cox, etc.

I'm glad to see that. People are taxed enough already. The citizens of Jackson County already agreed to a tax increase to fund the renovations of Kauffman and Arrowhead. And now the owners are pushing for more tax money and threatening to leave if they don't get their way. Why fund a renovation only to turn around and decide they are going to destroy the baseball stadium and build a new one somewhere else? Ridiculous!

Looks like this vote wasn't even close. Chiefs could go to KCK or elsewhere but I don't see the Hunt family ever leaving KC.

The Royals and Chiefs may have been better to hold off until November. Do it in April means a low turn out. The turnout was less than 50% of the registered voters.

Just my opinion the proposal that the teams put out was not definitive and many said it was not ready to be voted on. Both teams were hesitant to put anything in writing on what they would do, how they would do it, what minorities will be given work, what exact locations would be used.

My experience watching these types of votes is that it will continue to reappear on the ballot until it passes. Then it will be over and the tax payers will be on the hook.
