Ticket pricing

Post by ToledoCat#3 » June 3rd, 2021, 11:54 am

Just finished buying 4 tix to the Nevada game on Sept. 18. Got 'em in the upper rows of the new south end zone.

Tix were priced at $40, but there were more than $19 in "fees" attached to make the total price per tix at $59+.

What the hell? Fees? One-third of the total price?

Just price the damned tix at $60 and I wouldn't have commented -- just paid and shrugged.

Can anyone explain to me what kind of "fees" are included in the $19+. And, why is this "Fee" system better than straight-up pricing? What do such "fees" add to the fan experience?

Single game tickets? I thought they had not released single game sales yet.

Single game tickets are NOT on sale yet. If you got them it was from a resaler or from Nevada. Single game tickets are not available on the Nevada site either.

Wife bought 'em from Seat Geek.

Still would like to know what sort of "stuff" constitute "fees."

Hell, the tix don't even have to be mailed.

That is how the broker makes money. They have to show 'fees' in many states as they cannot sell for real market value.

It is profit for the broker.

Why are tickets available on that site but not for KState fans?

I assume it's a season ticket holder that is listing their games already on a ticket broker for resale.
