i used to watch every minute of the masters. this year, i watched the final round. i guess many simply didn't watch at all. pro golf is in deep doo.

Same with me, TM.
Golf simply isn't as compelling to me today as it used to be. Now watch it occasionally, not habitually.
Golf has evolved into a chase after instant millions of $$$.

i have no problem with guys getting rich at the top of pyramid. what bothers me is that saudi arabia is buying talent from the pga tour causing all kinds of internal chaos the pga can't seem to manage. guys like jon rohm and brooks koepka leaving hurts interest. although i do enjoy scotty, homa, morikawa, and others' play, they don't cover for speith and thomas playing poorly and the absence of others. and i don't enjoy watching tiger fail. that's just brutal.
