Re: rule changes ...
4 media time-outs per quarter. I think they're 3 1/2 minutes in length (probably wrong on that one, they seem like 5 minutes). It didn't seem to me like most games last year were plagued with excessive reviews but some certainly were overwrought with them. Didn't 1 game have a review in the first m...

Re: Serena Sundell
I've officiated her several times. I was told she was going D1 in volleyball. Good genes, her Dad played at Northwest Mo State. Probably with the proliferation of lower D1 schools today, he'd have played some D1 ball. Maryville is a big Class 3 school. Plays conference in the MEC which is mostly cla...

Re: Texas fires Aston
It's always amazing to me how it seems in any sport at the collegiate level, you just seem to have a few who dominate. I'll give those who are very successful all the credit that is due them but if you put together talent like Mulkey or K or Saban, I'd say there are many more who could win a lot of ...

Talked to someone involved in college athletics last night, not NCAA. He says he's hearing 2 scenarios for college football. 1) Played this fall on TV only 2) Feb-April.

If Cartier's replacement can shoot at a higher percentage, and the other newcomers, it'll be a smoother transition.

Re: mu fans continue to debate their departure ...
NWMSU is Northwest Mo State in Maryville. Perennial power in FB as noted by AJ above. Also referred to as SE Neb St or SW Ia St. At one time they had more players in NFL than K-State. They seemed to land a lot of marginal D1 players but did have some studs. Their men's basketball program has become ...

Re: mu fans continue to debate their departure ...
MU probably made a good choice from a financial and risk management perspective. I always thought of MU as St. Louis’ school and KU as KC’s school. I always feel like St. Louis has a bit of a southern vibe too, so maybe that’s where they belong. I don’t know if the Big 12 made bad choices in WVU an...
