Re: Leadership

I wrote a fairly detailed response out on leaders for next year but deleted it as I believe you guys have most of my thoughts covered. Thank you.

Re: I'm done with Scout

I assume most of you noticed that the moderators have an announcement at the top of the Scout board and are moving all comments about the state of the program to one thread and all the comments about Martin to another thread. Warning posters to that there is likely to be a lot of negativity on state...

TCU and the NIT

I would like to know others thoughts on this game. If we win, does it get us in the NIT or will we need a win in Kansas City.
Also, I do not expect much of a crowd and TCU can always get hot from three. Our team will need to come out focused to insure we win this one.

Re: Leadership

That ehoes my thoughts. I see the emotion and energy from a guy like DJ that has become one of the best players on the team spreading through the team like a disease. Stokes plays with the same type of emotion. Both of them look like they are enjoying the heck out of playing basketball.

Re: I'm done with Scout

I believe everyone posting here and also on Scout believe that Weber will need to have a successful season next year which means making the tournament. I am sure the league will be good again but lots of unknowns with the teams. Still, there are good to great coaches at every school and this will me...

Re: I'm done with Scout

I would not give them the satisfaction. Rather see them just replying to each others negative post than to have them think those with opposing views are no longer participating.

Re: I'm done with Scout

I do find it hard to resist going over and poking them now and then. Must be some flaw in my personality.

Re: Iwundu

Iwundu's clown move during a 3 on 1 break late in the second half cost us momentum, and deserves the benching he got. What the hell was he thinking? It resulted in a dunk on the other end by ISU, and effectively cost us any hope at all of an upset. It was the kind of play that devastates a team, es...

Re: Iwundu

Dave is right. Too much help defense on a three point shooting team at home. We should have stuck with the shooters even if it meant giving up some points inside. I blame the coaches for that. DJ is petty good but lets hope that Williams will be another rim protector and allow us to stay on the thre...

Re: I'm done with Scout

1. I think I had told Puffdad if we continue to lose it will get worse on Scout and if we win it will quiet the people who are glass half full people. Well we have lost enough for them to be out in full force and I expect I will quit posting over there and do most of my posting on this site. 2. Webe...
