Re: Was hoping AJ could help fix this void we seem to have every year

And those three schools really aren't top tier programs (which you wondered why K-State isn't considered to be one of). In order to be viewed as a top tier program they are going to need more than a conference championship once every decade. They have the opportunity to do that now though with ther...

Re: Was hoping AJ could help fix this void we seem to have every year

If K-State wouldn't have choked in that '98 Big 12 Championship game and had gone on to play for the Natty I think the perception they have around the country would be a lot different. In the end for as good as K-State fans think the program is yet at the same time all the program has is a couple c...

Re: Dylan Edward's Commits to Cats

Bryce's problem was he had trouble holding onto the ball. If he didn't have fumble issues he would have made a pretty good NFL player. Once those NFL coaches lose confidence in you they won't give you another chance.

Re: Dylan Edward's Commits to Cats

This move definitely makes K-State a preseason favorite to win the conference. I doubt this will affect DJ that much as we were going to find a back to split carries with him regardless.

Re: Jake Clifton

Snyder was never a great recruiter even for that time period. So yes he probably would have struggled mightily in this era of college football.

Re: Recruiting Thread

Well K-State has a pretty good track record with smaller backs. Hoping he give the Cats a look, but I suspect high NIL will be required. I wonder if there are any hard feelings between Edwards and the coaching staff since he de-committed from us for ND? Recruiting is strictly a business. Especially...

Re: Adios!

For me personally I don't mind the NIL. As a fan of college football as a whole and not just the Big XII or K-State I was worried that players would begin skipping college football altogether and go to the XFL (or whatever official minor league would be running at the time. I firmly believe that tha...

Re: Another Ron Prince What The Hell?

To be fair Prince did spend quite a bit of time in the NFL once he left K-State. He seemed to be a pretty decent O-Line coach but isn't someone who handles complete authority very well. i remember him having assistant coaches run the steps when he wasn't happy with how the team was playing. i thoug...
