Re: goings-on at other football programs ...

Thinking back to last year with the illegal gambling taking place by Iowa and Iowa State players, it makes one wonder how widespread this issue really is among college athletes. Is this done online? I would imagine so, which makes it easier to do. I don't know enough about it, though, since I don't...

Trim the fat and start seeking some change! Traditional 4 year institution models are a complete farce, and have been for 25 plus years. When will people wake up?
Thankfully, people are starting to wake up. Maybe this will force the universities to make overdue and much-needed changes.

Regarding the retention of staff, maybe instead, schools should be thinking about getting rid of...

Re: Portal 2024

He is probably a longshot, especially now that we picked up Achor Achor, but he would be a great addition. A Kentucky website has him listed at 7'0 tall and 245 lbs. He would be a good replacement for Will McNair. Like Mobi, he is also originally from Nigeria. Maybe that helps in our recruiting him...

Ugonna Onyenso? Jamie Shaw Twitter X, there is a post (On3 tease) about Ugonna Onyenso's status update. A cryptic message of New School involved. Now Derek Young twitter reposted Shaw's message. Why?, He is probably a longshot, especially now that we picked up Achor Achor, but he would be...

Re: Cussing and berating the portal madness

Here is what I think would be more workable. Stipends: $1,000 per month for walk-ons. $1,500 per month for scholarship players. This applies to football and M&W basketball. Call NIL what it really is, an Incentive Payment. No more than $300,000 per player per college career. Total incentive capped ...
