i believe if universities said - no, we're not doing pay2play - and they did so in unison all this nonsense would end. fans cheer for the colors, not the players. send those guys to the g-league of hoops (ames) or football (deuce) and no one would know their names nor care. seriously did not think klieman could get an experienced dude to sit in the shade behind sunshine. on the other hand, we know quarterbacks are but a play away from being starters, howard for thompson being the classic. anyway, good on coach for pulling this off. it's a comforter.

ku going to the sec or b10 would not surprise me one iota, nor would them not. this is a crazy time driven by greed and shortsightedness, but mostly media companies. if offered, i would not blame them for going because k-state would do the same thing in a millisecond. it's "all about me" presently ...

by the way, eddie was one hell of fine coach. i always thought of him and jack hartman as brothers by different mothers.

i applaud people like buckner who speak out with what they know to be truth. a conservative catholic speaking to a catholic university audience about the importance of the catholic faith to him and them. kudos.
