Re: Beating TCU
Coaches need to accept responsibility for lack of fundamentals and lack of preparation. Preparation should lead to proper execution. Constant screaming during the game does not lead to proper execution. And yet he is tied for #75 on the all-time list of College Coaches with 495 DI wins, and you hav...

Re: 17 Wins - Is it possible?
IF they can get one win out of the next two games, I start thinking 17 wins may actually be possible. Maybe. We'll see.

Re: Is NIT a possibility?
Don't conflate two distinct questions: 1) should the team accept an NIT bid if one is offered, and 2) how does the administration see an NIT bid as far as retaining the current coaching staff. Given that KSU has not had a postseason opportunity in the last two seasons, it would make little sense to ...

Re: Must Win vs TCU
As other have pointed out, it is not a must win in the true sense of the words. It is however a desperately needed win if one wants to believe that KSU has a reasonable path to making the NCAA tourney -- which is certainly my goal for this team. There is no question that KSU can theoretically get an...

Re: Fill the Bram
If this team is much closer to 20 wins than 20 losses, then the fans will return -- the students in particular. Covid is likely to depress college basketball attendance overall this season, but winning will help no matter what the exact impact of Covid turns out to be. Just win as the saying goes.

Re: About the "Offense"
According to today's Kenpom ratings, KSU is ranked #124 for offense and #44 on defense out of 358 DI teams. The three teams KSU has lost to are ranked #8, #19, and #78 (without Pack). This KSU team has to continue to improve to be competitive in the Big 12, but if they can get healthy and stay at le...

Re: WSU Game Thread
KSU will likely be an underdog to WSU and a close pick over Marquette. It would help a lot to get at least a split, and a sweep would put a 10-3 nonconference record within reach (but not a given). Big game for sure, but there are at least 26 games left in the season right now with lots of opportuni...

Re: iowa state has reloaded ...
Xavier made 3 of 21 from three and ISU made 10 or 20 from three. It could be meaningful, or it could be a fluke. The rest of ISU's schedule looks pretty ordinary so far -- it is early.

Re: what should the 8-man rotation be?
monday night is going to tell us if this is a legit outfit or, like the wbb team last night against nc state, a disappointment overhyped on weak competition. arky is a legit top 20 team. Arkansas is not just good, they are very good. It will definitely be a significant upset if KSU can beat Arkansa...
