We brought Dug in and he likely gets 35 minutes a game. Can not blame Ames. In pre portal days, he would have a role similar to Stokes, Pullen or Angel as a sophomore.
Lots of P5 teams need a starting point guard. IE TT, WVU and Colorado just in the Big 12.

Re: Portal 2024
Kstates players Jones, Ames and Glover left because they have been recruited over. It is what it is.
We can like it or not. Maybe after Covid players go away, things will normalize a little.

Re: Hausen has committed to Cats
He looks like a good addition but I do not plan to over hype his potential. Let him have a chance to prove himself without having unwarranted expectations hanging over him. For example. He was 5 for 28 in Villanovas last 5 games. That came after going 10 for 22 in the 5 games before that. So he is g...

Re: RJ Jones - GONE
So...with this "changing as often as many times the "Student Athlete" desires and be immediately eligible to play"... are the schools still at all involved with requiring that this new "Student Athlete" is actually eligible under the school's academic requirements? I just wonder because it seems li...

Re: RJ Jones - GONE
Rumor is it was RJs decision. No doubt he was looking at potential playing time. One criticism I have of Tang is not playing young guys enough. But RJ played way too sped up this year and might have cost us some games. I think I read where Tang is evaluating if they should have played young guys mor...

Re: Portal 2024
the car dealer is making a marketing cost choice: tv, radio, nil? i bought an aviator from long mcarthur at salina because of nil. i would never have done that based on their radio ad or others. 2 things are my conclusion: 1) you likely over paid 2) You are helping funding the current condition. Yo...

Re: Portal 2024
I have a novel idea. Those players, who have left a school in order to get a bigger payday at another school, should don a jersey with a dollar sign on the front instead of the school logo. What is better, the player should have the name of the donor emblazoned across his chest. Let’s just be hones...

Re: NBA Playoffs
One thing I see in the playoffs is quite a number of mid range shots. Three point line is further out and heavily guarded. Hard to score over shot blockers at the rim. Opens up the mid range and NBA players seem to be able to score.

Re: NBA Playoffs
You see some amazing shots and defensive plays. Worth watching as they get further into the playoffs.
